About Dr. Hyeon-Jin Kwon, L.Ac., Dipl. OM

Dr. Hyeon-Jin Kwon is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a Doctorate from The Pacific College of Health and Sciences (San Diego, 2024) and a Masters of Science from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco (2012). Board-certified by the NCCAOM, she is licensed to practice acupuncture and herbology in Maryland since 2012.

After a decade in corporate and academic settings, Dr. Kwon followed her deepening passion for ancient healing systems and committed to a lifelong study of Chinese medicine. She considers herself a general family acupuncturist with a specialization in reproductive health, fertility, and pediatrics. She interned with fertility acupuncturists while in school and it was during this time she felt a deep interest in helping support couples in their journey.

Dr. Kwon is among the first cohort of practitioners to complete the JingShen Pediatric Certificate and Mentorship Program. She has undertaken more than 100 hours of advanced pediatric training with leading experts in the field.

She believes in the effectiveness of Chinese medicine and fosters a supportive, patient-centered approach. With compassion and clinical insight, she empowers individuals and families to take an active role in their health journey.

Outside the clinic, Hyeon-Jin enjoys a lively home life with her husband, 3 children and dog Sawyer. Together, they love playing sports, exploring nature, going on ice cream-fueled road trips, and enjoying cozy movie nights at home.

About Pallavi Ramamurthy

With two decades of experience leading global marketing and branding for luxury fashion and skincare brands, Pallavi developed a deep understanding of how women connect with the world around them. Over time, she felt compelled to apply that expertise to something more personal, grounded, and transformative.

Her interest in health and nutrition was established well before her professional career began. Raised in a family rooted in generational Ayurvedic principles and home-cooked meals, wellness formed the foundation of her upbringing. In her early thirties, at the height of her career and approaching burnout, she recognized the need to create space for balance as she prepared for motherhood later in life. Following a high-risk pregnancy and the premature birth of her daughter during the early days of the pandemic, she decided to pursue a more meaningful path. Her focus turned toward supporting women through the physical and emotional complexities of perimenopause, menopause, and the broader midlife transition.

Today, as a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Pallavi helps women navigate this pivotal life stage with clarity and confidence. She develops tailored, sustainable plans and serves as a health advocate in collaboration with their care teams. Her approach is the result of an integrated expertise spanning education, research, cultural heritage, and lived experience, applied with precision to the unique needs of women in midlife.

Our Mission:

To provide quality care with compassion and respect for all those that come through our doors.
